Use with bark beetle plant-based liquid attractant and slow-release vial, applied before adult flight. Fix the trap to non-host tree trunks via screw holes on both sides of the cross-shaped plate. For forest stands with diameter ＜25m, place traps at plot edges (10-15m from healthy trees); for ＞25m, install in open areas of the forest on non-host trunks, adjusting height by species. Clean promptly when insect catch is heavy, and replenish/replace attractants based on their effective period. Store attractants refrigerated/frozen before use (24-month shelf life), and use immediately after opening.
