verbenone, as an aggregation pheromone antagonist of small silverfish (such as P. pine and Spruce degu),  is released by infested conifers to interfere with the chemical communication of pests, and has been developed as a natural repellent for forest pest prevention and control through artificial synthesis, which effectively inhibits the spread of pests by blocking the aggregation signal of small silverfish, and has become a key behavioural regulation technology to replace chemical pesticides in forestry ecological protection.
